Gone, Gone Beyond unfolds as an investigation into breath—the invisible yet material force that binds the body and its environment. The work consists of a pressure-device sculpture that inhales and exhales like a living organism, alongside a performance that engages with rupture, grief, and transformation.
Developed in relation to the late writings of Greek poet Katerina Anghelaki-Rooke, the work reflects on the instability of identity and the possibility of reassembling the self in moments of loss. Sculpture and performance share a single membrane: both in constant motion, both vanishing and returning.
